The Cranberry Marketing Committee represents 100% of the US cranberry handlers within four Marketing Order districts. Presently, this includes 18 handlers located in the states of Oregon, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin. These handlers represent approximately 1,200 US growers.

Leadership for the Committee is self-appointed by its membership. Presently, eight members have a seat on the Board of Directors with alternative designated for each member. Regulations specify that seven members and their alternates shall be growers or employees, agents, or duly authorized representatives of growers. One non-industry member and alternate shall be appointed to represent the general public consumer. Industry members shall represent each of four designated districts in the production area. Non-industry members shall represent the public-at-large. The selection process for nomination and term of office of Committee members shall be in adherence to the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 7, Part 929.22.
