Celebrate the Lawrence Public Library's exciting new chapter at this special benefit featuring NPR special correspondent Susan Stamberg. One of the most popular broadcasters in public radio, Stamberg is well-known for her conversational style, intelligence, interesting stories and her renown cranberry relish! Her thousands of interviews include conversations with Rosa Parks, Laura Bush and Billy Crystal.

Susan's presentation will be followed by a special reception featuring the winning recipe of the "Cranberry Creations" recipe contest and samples of Susan's infamous cranberry relish prepared by famed Lawrence chefs, Robert and Molly Krause.

NPR special correspondent and “Cranberry Ambassador” Susan Stamberg is coming to Lawrence on March 13th!  Longtime NPR listeners know that Susan is famous for her annual holiday story about her mother-in-law’s cranberry relish recipe. In honor of her visit, the Lawrence Public Library Foundation, together with the Cranberry Marketing Committee and Douglas County Extension Service, bring you the Cranberry Creations Recipe Contest to find the most devine cranberry dessert.  The grand prize entry will be served at a special VIP party with Susan Stamberg, and the winner will receive a prize package worth $250.
