Smoked Turkey and Cranberry Pizza

This delicious pizza is packed with favor from the sweet cranberry sauce to the smoked turkey. These toppings work well as a French bread pizza or on traditional pizza dough, be creative!

Ingredients

  • 1 16-oz. loaf soft Italian or French bread, cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 16-oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • ¾ cup sliced green onions, both the white and green parts
  • 1-12 oz. package part-skim mozzarella cheese ½ pound smoked deli turkey, cut into thin strips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place bread on baking sheet cut side up.
  3. Spread cranberry sauce evenly over bread. Sprinkle with green onion and meat. Top with cheese.
  4. Bake 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted and starting to brown.

Yields: 2 “pizzas”, 6 entrée servings or 16 appetizer servings
