Cranberry Marketing Committee, USA Partners with Elsie and Emma of “A Beautiful Mess” To Help You Plan the Ultimate Friendsgiving

There’s a new holiday in town! It’s called Friendsgiving and it’s all about celebrating Thanksgiving with your closest friends – either on Thanksgiving or the weeks before or after. In recent years, Friendsgiving has become the hottest dinner party on social calendars and its popularity keeps growing… promising to be bigger than ever this season!

To toast this new American tradition, the Cranberry Marketing Committee, USA (CMC) is launching the Cranberry Friendsgiving Photo Contest – giving party-goers the chance to be $2,000 richer for their next dinner party! Entering is easy… post your cranberry creations online with the hashtag #FriendsgivingCranberryContest then upload your photos at CranberryFriendsgiving.com for a chance to win.

Cranberries have long had a place at mom’s Thanksgiving table, but as America’s Original Superfruit®, U.S.-grown cranberries are also a star at any Friendsgiving feast. In sweet or savory recipes, crafty cocktails or fashioned into elegant décor, cranberries are THE fruit for this holiday celebration. The CMC has teamed up with holiday décor and recipe specialists, Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman, co-founders of A Beautiful Mess, to create The Ultimate Friendsgiving Guide. The sister duo share inspirational cranberry ideas – from décor to dessert – in this complete party planning checklist, at CranberryFriendsgiving.com.

“From good food to great company, our Friendsgiving celebration has become a tradition we look forward to every year,” say Elsie and Emma. “And we can’t have Friendsgiving without cranberries! Their versatility, along with their bright flavor and color add a special flare to recipes, cocktails and decorations.”

“Elsie and Emma, like many millennials, truly enjoy a homemade lifestyle. We’re excited to partner with them to help bring imagination to our Cranberry Friendsgiving Photo Contest,” says Michelle Hogan, Executive Director of the Cranberry Marketing Committee, USA. “Cranberries add delicious flavor to any recipe, and a bold look to any décor, so we look forward to seeing how their versatility is presented in the entries.”
