2022 Committee Elections
2022 is an election year for the CMC’s board, which is composed of 7 voting and 5 alternate members representing major cooperative growers; 6 voting and 4 alternate members representing independent growers; and 1 public voting member and 1 public alternate member, neither of whom has a prior affiliation with the cranberry industry.
Nomination forms will be mailed to independent members in April and voting ballots will be mailed out in May. The major cooperative will work with its members directly to fill any vacancies. All appointees will be asked to complete a Qualification Statement and those will be submitted to USDA in June. Once approved by the Secretary, USDA, new board members will serve a term that runs from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2024.
We thoroughly appreciate and want to publicly thank all those who have volunteered their time to participate in this important cranberry industry role.
It is USDA’s policy that membership on industry-governed boards and committees accurately reflects the diversity of individuals served by the programs by including eligible women, minorities, and people with disabilities.
